"Neapolitan songs are of the best in Italian songs . And as for style , voice and interpretation Claudio Villa remains one of the best .I first heard Claudio Villa in Malta in 1956 , and from that day I could never hear enough of his serenades , I have an extended library of his records ,CDs , and tapes. Although Claudio was a Roman , his interpretations of the Neapolitan song , brings out all the drama , and the sentiment which is unique in the Canzone Napulitana."
