"This is a really strong debut album for Clare. Unlike most pop albums, each of the tracks stands on its own--there are no weak links. Another thing that makes this album entertaining is that each track is a bit different. They all take advantage of Clare's strong voice, but at the same time provide enough variety to keep you listening to the end.



The opening track, Listen, is perhaps the most catchy on the album, especially with the strong bass guitar line. Girl and Damage Done continue the more rock-oriented elements of the collection. Softer songs like Wonder and Photograph are remeniscent of Norah Jones or Madeleine Peyroux.



Overall, a great album and a mainstay of my personal listening. I'm certainly looking forward to hearing what's next."
