"I simply don't trust people who don't like this cd. Also, get a copy of their live cd "Guest List." I had to get it from their website cigarstoreindians.com. Last time we went to see them we had so much fun I forgot that I don't really drink that often anymore. The 16oz. PBR in the can was the "best deal," but the $20 cab ride, lost cell phone, mysterious scrape on my leg, my new Nikes covered in mud and me sleeping on a sofa when I have a new Sealy Posturpedic matress
led me to believe that they must have put on a hellava show."

"So you know from whence this review comes, I have followed these guys since before 1995. I attended their first CD release party, where I met the woman who would later become my wife. I credit these guys, especially Ben (the lead singer) for being a major part of our romance! We even (somehow) convinced them to play our wedding! They played all of their songs (from both of their albums that were released at the time), but this one is by far my favorite. It is no exaggeration to say that everyone that attended our wedding is not only still talking about it, but are also telling us that it was the most fun they'd ever had [as they say this, they are referring to the reception where the Cigar Store Indians got EVERYONE, and I do mean EVERYONE, on the dance floor! Even the "stuffy uncles" who NEVER dance!]We even own 3 copies of this CD! That's one for work, for the car, and home! Do yourself a favor, and listen to some of their rockin' tunes here, then the decision to buy will be automatic!"

"When I lived in Atlanta, I went to see these guys once a month or so. Now I see them whenever they come to my town, so about every six months. I absolutely crave this high energy, highly engaging band! This CD is never far from my stereo.CSI's self-titled debut is a totally sweet blend of high energy rockabilly, bouncing honky tonk and sultry crooning. The songs are very engaging and often very funny too. After about six months of totally rocking to this disk you start to pick up on the subtle satire found in songs like "Barfly" and "Mother Of The Bride." But CSI is not just another self-aware proud-to-live-in-a-trailer-park alt-country band. They ham it up plenty but really deliver with songwriting and musical chops that often astound me. I've had this CD for years now, and let me tell you it stands up to repeated listening. Buy it, and enjoy it for years to come!"

"like the first review, we got these guys to play our wedding - it was a 50's themed wedding - all the guys in shark skin jackets - the girls in 50s prom dresses - and the band MADE the wedding - their music is great, and they got everyone dancing. Sacred Was the Night was our wedding song. Get this CD!!!!"

"This CD is a drug. A drug to keep you from withdrawl between live shows. These guys rock with a level of energy that is remarkable. Tight bass lines, steady and authoritative drum beats. Guitar riffs that flow like water and sound like heaven. Vocals are edgy yet refined at the same time. Lyrics are humorous and heartfelt. These guys roll it all up into a super tight rock package and deliver it loud. Buy it-love it."
