"If a CD could get dog-eared, than all my Chuck Brodsky recordings would be looking kind of ragged by now. His writing isn't flashy, his voice doesn't sound like it's trying out for an olympic team, no need. Chuck writes the type of songs that speak simply, ring true, and weather well. I recommend any and all of his recordings. Chuck Brosky CD's are like instant old friends."
A great singer/storyteller

"Singer-songwriter Brodsky tells a great story in straightforward fashion not in the way of poets, but more in the tradition followed by all good folk music storytellers. This is a songwriter's CD throughout. There is a rural Southern sensibility about this disc; his vocal style owes a lot to the Woody Guthrie/Bob Dylan lineage. This ranks as one of the best folk CDs in my collection."
Earthy folk music you won't tired from

"It has been said that Chuck Brodsky's music is like a good feeling that keeps you smiling for no particular reason. His subtle humor and earthy voice make you want to take a road trip with no particular destination in mind. A must for anyone looking for a new voice to get hooked on."

"I remember when I met Chuck Brodsky at a show he gave in Asheville, NC, I thought "Wow, I'm standing next to Chuck Brodsky" and it was sorta like meeting Elvis woulda been...only better! I really love this man's music, and I have taken "Happy Little World" as my own personal theme song. It keeps me going to know that when all else fails, I can kick back, listen to Chuck Brodsky, and be in my own Happy Little World"

"I had the opportunity to rub elbows with Chuck for a (way too short) weekend music party for another great songwriter/performer named Jack Williams. Just as in his eighth song on this cd....I was blown away. But only in the best way possible. Chuck touches your heart in a dangerous way! You'll never be the same after experiencing this man's music. A Bard of epic proportions, if he is performing anywhere close, make every effort to have a listen to this artist. It doesn't get any better than this!"
