This is what you call "Remastered"??

"I had a difficult time understanding why the previous reviewer made a statement praising Chubby Checker and then only rated this album with one star. Now I understand. This album has a number of good songs on it, and it's fun to listen to.....BUT, the quality of the recording is really disappointing. On some of the songs, one channel is lower volume than the other, on several, the bass is very minimal and almost non-existent, in one song, Chubby's voice sounds as though he's somewhere off in the distance, and GET THIS! - the song "Dance the Mess Around" is FULL of cracks and pops as though it were recorded directly from some old 45 rpm record! On top of everything else, Hooka Tooka, although it's pretty good, is NOT the original release, which really disappointed me. All in all, it's not a bad album, but as a "Remastered" recording (if, in fact, it really is) it isn't worth much."
