Product DescriptionA stream borders the edge of the marsh. Nearby, thick stands of cattails rustle in the late afternoon breeze. Red-winged blackbirds, crows, chickadees, woodpeckers, and of course, seagulls join to create Cape Cod s springtime chorus. While the oceans on Cape Cod get most of the visitors, the inner shores of marshland make for some of the most interesting hiking and nature watching. This 62 minute MS stereo recording was made on location in Harwich with minimal postproduction. There is no added music or synthesized sound. Play it as the backdrop to your next dinner, while reading a book, doing massage or yoga, or give it as a gift to your favorite homesick Cape Codder. The Cape Cod Soundscapes Series is drawn from the field recordings of Christopher Seufert and the Mooncusser Films audio archive. Mooncusser Films is an entirely independent film and video production company specializing in documentaries, educational programs, music video, and promotional projects. In addition to projects of their own design, the company has also been lucky enough to work all over the world with a great variety of people, including journalist Walter Cronkite, musician Suzanne Vega, the late illustrator Edward Gorey, actress Julie Harris, and filmmaker Al Maysles.
