Chris Proctor's first 2 are only a prevue of things to come

"Chris Proctor took a guitar, piles of guitar tab & his philosophy degree to the Peace Corps at age 24. His mastery of acoustic guitar composition is seen in these first two releases. He really has incorporated the classical styles, folk, ragtime, flamenco and the modern fingerstyle patterns (Hedges, Degrassi). Listen to Bush Pilot syndrome and feel his touch on the arrpegiated lines. My fav CD is probably steel string stories as his later releases show a more mature and complex song writing ability but all are musts for any acoustic guitar enthusiasts. Check out his use of the EBow and third hand capo and two hand tapping techniques."
