Another in the Castle Music double-artist, double-disc series. Featuring 25 tracks from one of Britain's foremost blues 'n' soul singers Chris Farlowe, including his 1966 #1 'Out Of Time' (Jagger/Richards), 'Think' & 'Handbags & Gladrags' (later a hit for Rod Stewart). Disc 2 features 23 tracks from Long John Baldry who shared Farlowe's roots in the British R&B scene. Tracks include his 1967 #1 'Let the Heartaches Begin'. This compilation draws on the major hit-making period for both artists (the second half of the 60s) & includes all their hits for the Immediate (Farlowe) & Pye (Baldry) labels. 2001 release.
