"I have several John Tesh Christmas albums but this one is my favourite. I particularly like the arrangements on this album. Smooth as satin. The only tune I didn't know was Carol of the Birds'. The rest of them we all know and love."

"This Christmas CD is a stand out amoung the many seasonal albums released. Some call John Tesh a king of schlock but he has put together a collection of beautifully arrainged classic carols with anywhere from the restrained to lush choral and orchestral melodies. A personal favorite is the French "Carol Of The Birds", a charming carol as told from the birds point of view in witnessing the birth place of Christ. As a choral singer I can tell you the 4 parts are sung with such clarity as I've rarely heard before on a pop Christmas CD. The accompaning trio of harpsichord, flute and bass accentuate the chorus with restrained force making this piece a stand-out. You will feel as if you are actually at the manger. The other choruses and soloists are all handsomely presented making this a CD you'll want to listen to year-round, not just at Christmas time!"
