A great compilation of contemporary children's songs.

"This album brings together some of the best artists which make the songs seem new, even though some of them are the same songs I listened to when I was a child. There are no duds here. Each song is enjoyable and you will find yourself singing them even when your child isn't around. This album has excellent sound quality, just as you would expect from James Taylor's and Kenny Loggins' adult albums (I have the CD). I will definitely be buying other albums by "Music for Little People" based on my enjoyment of this album."
One of the Best Children's CD's Available. Quality Music

"This is one of the best children's music CD's you can buy. We have owned this CD for almost three months, and our children love a handful of the songs. You would have a hard time finding these songs anywhere else.About half of the songs are very good. One outstanding song is "Baby Beluga" by Raffi. "Puff" and "Garden Song" are instant classics, too. And a handful of the songs are not so good. It's a matter of taste. In that respect, this CD is similar to "A Child's Celebration of the World," which has a handful of outstanding songs and a few clunkers. But both CD's are much better than the commercial music on the market. Your children will like these CD's.I also STRONGLY recommend anything by Raffi, such as "Singable Songs for the Very Young" or "In Concert With the Rise and Shine Band." Raffi's music is the best children's music of all time and highly recommended by educators."
Apparently music can soothe savage preschoolers, too!

"This CD is essential to my family's morning routine. If we listen to it on the 20-minute drive to preschool, we arrive singing and laughing and in a wonderful mood. If not, the boys are shrieking and hitting each other in the backseat while I bellow at them from the front. What magic did Music for Little People capture on these tracks? We have other wonderful albums, but none that captivate a 5-year-old, a 20-month-old and Mommy quite like this one. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Excellent CD for kids & adults will like it too

"This is one of our 2 year-old daughter's favorite CD's and it's also satisfying for adults as well. There are some old and popular favorites that I remember from being a child (Puff the Magic Dragon, Skip to my Lou, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Bannana Boat song...) and some songs new to me, but that we all love: Sweet Honey of the Rock's Little Red Caboose and James Taylor's Jelly Man Kelly are especially beloved. It also lends itself well to dancing. A good buy."
MOSTLY WONDERFUL SONGS, but weaker at the end.

"Terrific, engaging, not too "elevator music." 1st 13 tracks are the best, but the Doobie's lyrics on Winken, Blinken and Nod are unintelligible and Paul Simon's St Judy's Comet is boring. Everything else is great! I recommend as a great gift."
