"I read good strong, positive reviews before taking a chance on this cd. I liked it immediately upon buying it. Now it has become one of my favorites! Strong ultra melodic songs, great harmonies, what more could you want? Buy this and Steve Wards solo album also. These guys have the potential to be as good as the Pearlfishers, Mike Viola, Wondermints, Dada and other PoP Gods. Great job!"

"This disc is fantastic! If you like 60's pop music, I think you'll love this disc. Still popping it in the changer 5 years after its release...reminds me most of 60's bubble gum pop. Catchy tunes that will stick with you long after the last song finishes. You'll be pressing your player's "full repeat" button!"
My Favorite CD of 1999

"This album shimmers, punches, and rocks, all in a soft, dreamy, ringing sort of way. If you're a fan of 60s music, especially The Beach Boys, you'll probably like this CD. At the same time, At Home With Cherry Twister has its own fresh sound that cannot be compared to anything else. I haven't stopped listening to it since I bought it in April of this year. Every song has its own magic; this CD has me constantly swaying with the melody or tapping my feet to the infectious rhythm. This album demands more eloquence than I am capable of, but my sincerest recommendation will just have to do!"
"Cherry twister is the most promising popband I know. They've got the songs, the lyrics and the voices ( maybe not the looks but who cares ? ). Their music is an unique mixture of powerpop and retropop with superb hooks. For whom it may concern : check out the solo-album of frontman : Steve Ward. It's called "opening night" and it's almost as good as this one"
