"NOT Runaways music. If you're a Runaways fan, that does NOT mean you will immediately become a fan of Currie as a solo artist.
It's a totally different type of music---I don't even know what to call it. I'd like to say Pop, but it's too boring; I'm angry at myself for jumping in and buying all of these cds because I just found The Runaways and loved all of their stuff (except for "and now..." which I liked, not loved).
"Beauty's only skin deep" fares only slightly better, as it has some "cute" harmonies. This is a real dud....See if you can give it a listen before you rush to buy it. I wish I had."

"s a runaways fan I highly recommend this album, like other people have said not all the tracks are great but there are some catchy songs on this album once you get over how beautiful Cherrie and Marie are you have some great songs ,this is a best of there 2 albums since they had no hits it's not a hits album,This Time is so catchy it should of been a hit also Since You've Been Gone guitar riff sounds like The Scorpions Rock You Like A Hurricane but it's a more enjoyable song ,the title track rocks also and the ballad Prisoner I like a lot, the muscianship is very good some of the songs do sound dated since they should since it was from the 1970's anyway if your a runaways fan these tracks are worth a listen."

"I had this lp almost thirty years ago and had no recollection of the music. To put it bluntly, this is very average. The Currie sister's version of Rainbow's "Since You've Been Gone" is as good if not better than the original, but the other remake of "Cherry bomb" by the Runaways is mediocre at best. I think I bought this lp originally because they were so hot back then, and didn't pay much attention to the music. This is a cd for the collectors and not for your average music lover."
