"First thing: Amazon failed to correctly list the tracks on this CD. There are four mixes of Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase": [1] Paul Oakenfold Mix (10:21); [2] Jam & Spoon Mix (8:41); [3] Todd Terry Mix (5:17); and Junior Sanchez Mix (6:38).Second Thing: I'm a huge fan of Giorgio Moroder's work. Corny lyrics sometimes, sure. Plain (and sometimes just bad) singing, definitely. But his hypnotic use of synthesizers was masterful.Third (and final) Thing: I don't care for remix artists who stray so far from the original recording that there's nothing left of it. In a nutshell, that's what's happened here. Three of the cuts here barely reference Moroder's original theme, and when they do, it's usually at the very end of their respective mix. Only the fourth cut actually uses Moroder's theme as its core. It's different enough to make itself unique without trashing the song itself (as the others do). From what I've read on the internet, this is the first release from an entire collection of "reworked" Moroder songs, meant to be a tribute to the composer/producer. It would be great if the tribute was more faithful to Moroder's work, but this CD single would seem to leave little hope for that."
Always a Giorgio Moroder's fan

"I saw the video on-line and I was trasported immediately to the late 70's early 80's when Georgio's music filled the best disco's of the world. I am buying this CD."
NOT THE ORIGINAL!!!

"This is not Moroder's original rendition of "The Chase", from the movie "Midnight Express", or more commonly known as the theme from radio host Art Bell's "Coast to Coast AM". These are really silly techno-trance-deephouse remixes and would actually sound kinda cool at a club or rave, but are nothing like the original."
Cut to "The Chase" please

"Ok, if you're into remixes you might like this, but I have one significant problem: the Original track isn't here! If the original is what started things, include it! Otherwise, the remixes are just 'nice' at best, and the fact that the classy original is not here is unacceptable."
