Over 70 minutes of priceless recordings by The Bird, all on CD for the first time. The first five tracks were recorded in concert at the Philharmonic Auditorium in Los Angeles on January 28th, 1946; the last two were recorded at the Embassy Theatre in L.A. on April 22nd of that same year. Seven tracks total. 1998 Indigo Records release. The full title is 'Charlie Parker A Jazz At The Philharmonic'.

"By far one of the single greatest albums I have ever heard. This live recording includes the greatest bebop musicians, all on one album. There is a version of I Got Rythm that includes some of Parker's finest work. This album is everything - a must-have for fanatics and a great starter album for people wanting to know what Jazz is all about."
