"Cameo-Parkway is finally turning loose the many classic gems in their vaults and it's great to have all of Charlie's Cameo stuff in one place for the first time ever.

Fans of Charlie Gracie will already have the British release called "It's Fabulous" but this contains SEVEN previously unavailable or unreleased tracks not on that one.

If you're not familiar with Charlie, get hip.

But for an ill-timed lawsuit (the usual fifties label issues) he would be a household name in this country like he is everywhere else.

His many fans include Paul McCartney (who recorded Charlie's "Fabulous" a few years ago), George Harrison,

DJ Fontana (Elvis' 50's drummer who likens Charlie's guitar-playing to greats like Grady Martin and Chet Atkins), Ray Davies, Graham Nash, Eddie Cochran (his late friend and contemporary), Van Morrison (who Charlie has toured with at Van's request) and the legendary Al Kooper who will be working with him on his next album.

Check out this Philly legend whose recording career pre-dates virtually everyone of note from the 50's and continues to this day."

"This album is a must for all rock'n roll fans. Here we finally get all of Charlie's Cameo recordings in one album incl his million-selling number one hit "Butterfly" and "Fabulous" (which sold close to a million). In US "Wanderin' Eyes" become Gracie's last hit peaking at No.70.



Other classics was "Ninety-Nine Ways", "I Love You So Much It Hurts" (which made the charts in England) and the great Otis Blackwell composition "Cool Baby" (from the 1957 rock'n roll movie "Disc Jockey Jamboree"), which also charted in England in 1958.



Buy it today, because no collection will be complete without it."
