"Well, it's a long time since The Charlatans burst on the scene with Indian Rope, but they continue to mature as only the best bands do. For a band that continually attracts inner turmoil they keep managing to make music which touches the soul. They've outlasted The Stone Roses, The Happy Mondays etc and are certainly able to exist alongside Oasis as the UK's top band.
This is a better effort than Us And Us Only, and that's really saying something. The singles, Love Is The Key and You're So Pretty We're So Pretty are classic Charlatans, but it's And If I Fall which is the real stand out track here. If you love The Charlatans you'll love this and if you don't you don't know what you're missing. We can only hope they'll keep making classic albums."
