CD ReviewsFantastic Rameau Pieces George Spontak | Montpelier, VT - USA | 01/14/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "I had a vinyl LP of these works which I listened to in the 60's and I have been looking for a version on CD that I would like as much. I think I have found it in this version here. The three musicians play well together and the sound is both relaxed and sparkling. Christophe Rousset keeps the group well grounded and the variety of sounds and affects is remarkable. This is the only chamber music composed by Rameau and after listening to the five concerts one only wishes that there were more works of chamber music by this composer. But what exists is so beautiful that that we need to be grateful to the compose for these. I highly recommend this disc."
