"The blending of uileann pipes with violin produces such a pleasing sound that one is inclined to listen to the CD several times in a row. Furthermore, the Celtic flavor richly enhances the Christmas mood, which is exceptionally cheerful in this rendition. However, not all of these songs are strictly Christmas songs, so one can enjoy them year-round. Incidentally, both performers (Scarlet Rivera and Eric Rigler) are renowned in their field, having contributed to the soundtrack to Braveheart, among others."
