"great ensemble; Joe Nosek knows how to coordinate a jam, and put on a Chicago style blues party! Love Oscar Wilson's vocals on "You Don't Mess Around with Jim" (Croce, not Morrison) and "Ain't No Fun When the Rabbit Got The Gun"; the title cut "I-94 Blues" is a great original composition by Nosek, and well performed by the band. Joel Paterson's guitar is sterling throughout, and Jimmy Sutton provides great bass. Special guest Billy Flynn adds mandolin & banjo to the mix, as well as guitar, and Barrelhouse Chuck keeps it rollin' old-style. This CD was recorded in Madison, Wisconsin in 2009, in the two days before Michael Jackson died. Nicely packaged little product, cool cover art. Recommended for parties, dancin' in the kitchen, traveling down the highway on the road of life, and for all fans of Midwest, Chicago-style blues, the kind that has never died, but is especially pleasant when capably & freshly revived."

"The Cash Box Kings have a new release that all blues and music fans will thoroughly enjoy. Matter of fact, I will even say that this collection of songs is without a doubt one of the best I've heard in the last ten years. As you listen to their new CD "I - 94 Blues" you will instantly recognize the sounds of a band playing Chicago blues and having a great time doing it! This album will soon be a classic! I still keep shaking my head because I cannot believe that each song was like listening to a greatest hits album. The Cash Box Kings play really tight and the vocals will have you wanting to hear more music from these guys. This CD is a must have for your collection and you have to see them perform live - you will also be shaking your head at what will be an amazing performance. This CD is a winner and it will exceed your expectations"
