Carney are fast becoming one of LA's hottest bands. Since the release of their critically acclaimed EP 'Love Me Chase Me' last year, they've divided their time between playing club shows and recording their stunning debut album 'Mr Green Vol 1', due out on March 26th. The first single 'Love Me Chase Me' is accompanied by a brilliant video featuring Hollywood star Evan Rachel Wood. Carney is a 4-piece Los Angeles musical phenomenon, who despite their young age (all 4 members are in their early 20s), have years of musical experience behind them. The band itself is fronted by siblings Reeve Carney - lead vocals & guitar and Zane Carney - lead guitar, along with John David Lipscomb on bass and Jon Epcar on drums. Carney's live shows have become something of an event in LA. Their weekly packed shows at Molly Malones continue to draw a crowd of fans that range from eager college students to trend-setting hipsters and industry heavyweights. The word-of-mouth is such that the room now systematically spills beyond its capacity. It won't be long til the secret is well and truly out - especially since Entertainment Weekly featured Reeve Carney in their New Star for the New Year feature in January.
