"The first single, "Alright With Me" was a revelation, and I think everyone in New Zealand was looking forward expectantly to the release of this first album which, it must be said, followed in leisurely fashion! Anyone who enjoys good honest melodic pop from artists like The Corrs, Jewel or Dido will love this album, definately deserving of international exposure and sales. Four great singles were derived from this album, "Alright With Me", "We Kissed", "Love Will Save Me" and "This Is It" - hopefully she hasn't burnt out all her creativity on her first album, as judging by this collection Carly has a great deal of potential. www.carlybinding.com has a couple of 30 second audio samples for you, along with videos."

"Carly Binding's long-awaited debut album is nothing short of astonishing, when you consider that she has come such a huge distance since the manufactured commercial pop of True Bliss into the realm of her own songs, which are finely crafted indeed. She's really done it properly here - the muzos are classy, the ensemble tight, with the decent variety of styles making for a great set. In terms of genre, at times she sounds like she's stepped out of one of the more contemporary Nashville studios (I mean this as a compliment!), with subtle references to such greats as Joan Osborne. The songs are comfortable and cruisy, yet still maintain interest to stay in the CD player. The number of hits on the album is likely proof enough that she's on track for further top-notch releases like this, so I look forward to hearing the next one!"
