By 1958 Perkins, like most of the early Sun gang, had moved to another label--in his case, Columbia, where fellow Sun pioneer Johnny Cash had also found a home. Trying to recreate the atmosphere of his early records, Perkins came up with footwear-themed items such as "Pink Pedal Pushers" and "Pointed Toed Shoes," but the best tracks of this retrospective are more wide-angled fare such as "Going to Memphis," "Restless," and "Big Bad Blues." --Billy Altman
