"Wow! One of the best CD's of steel pan music I've ever heard. J'Ouvert Comin' has a laid back jazzy feel that invokes the carefree days of summer at the beach. It's truely refreshing! I've listened to it at least 20 times and find it just as enjoyable with each listening. Caribbean Sound takes us on a musical journey thru numerous genres...each with ease. Whether listening to the Buffett covers, the Jazz of Narell's "Out of the Blue", or Olsavsky's original composition "Carnival Man" all are sure to please. And Philmore's "Pan By Storm" will definitely get you on your feet dancing! J'Ouvert Comin' is one of those rare CD's that captures the passion that these musician's obviously have for their music. If you're a fan of Pan music or just plain old good music this is a must have CD!"

"My wife and I always liked island music and heard Carribean Sound while in Florida. We couldn't believe how good they are. BOTH of their CD's are fantastic! We live in Ohio and all we have to do is put the CD on and we are instantly in Florida on the beach! The music is that good! The band is so talented and professional. The arrangements are superb.......especially the Jimmy Buffet covers and the Santana medley. The talent with this band is absolutely amazing. I do believe that the talents gods were working overtime with Carribean Sound and blessed them.We play the CD's all the time. It is especially great whenever I have a stressful day or the weather stinks up here in Ohio. We just pop the CD, pour a cocktail and life gets good again! Even I start dancing! We can't wait until we get down to Florida to hear them in person again! Hopefully they will put out another CD soon!"

"This is a great cd. I have seen this band perform in St. Augustine, FL and they are wonderful. Totally puts you in the Carribean mood. My 4 year old has been begging for it recently. I have recommended it to many friends."
