Album Description Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the eccentric British Punk popstar's 1984 sophomore solo album including seven bonus non-album singles and b-sides. Captain Sensible was a founding member of legendary Punk band The Damned. Whilst still a member of The Damned, he signed a solo deal with A&M Records. Power Of Love is the follow up to Women And The Captains First and features the hit singles 'Glad It's All Over', 'Stop The World' and 'I'm A Spider'. These songs are pure pop, largely cowritten by Robyn Hitchcock and produced by Tony Mansfield. The album has a breezy simplicity that really highlights Sensible's pop sensibility. It is also a more 'direct' album than "Women and Captains First". This Cherry Red release contains some great b-sides and for the first time contains the LP in it's entirety."
