"It isn't often a CD can bring back memories like this one. This music would get me in trouble by hanging out later then my curfew to listen to the "older guys" singing wherever they could find an echo. Take away the electronics of today and I wonder if the sound would be as pure as the Capris. A sound that will never die."
The best album of the Capris

"This is the best albmum the Capris have made. If you are into doo wop then you must have this album. Along with the Earls, the Capris have captured the best of the white group sound in harmony. I grew up with doo wop in New York and the Capris belong right up there with the best. Their song "There's a Moon Out Tonight is a doo wop classic."

""There's A Moon Out Again" was the anticipated hit song but it's flip side titled "Morse Code Of Love" is the favorite of many jitterbuggers.Even if you don't dance this song will move your feet!"

"The Capris, who cut "There's a Moon Out Tonight" back in the '50s, unfortunately couldn't sustain a music career so they all went their separate ways into regualar jobs. The excellence of that tune eventually made some of the doo wop intelligensia sit up and take notice. This CD is of recently-penned tunes you'd swear were written in the 50's (except John Lennon's "Imagine.") This is great stuff; I can't recommend it highly enough. You'll kick yourself if you pass this one by!"
