CD ReviewsCapleton excellent Fax | Tokyo, Suginami-ku Japan | 06/21/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "I love Capleton. Decided to buy this as, as the time, it was his newest album--collection of singles--and I was for it. Never had heard Anthony B but I was willing to chance it. Well, Capleton was great, AB wasnt, to me. I didnt find him interesting lyrically particularly and the tracks he rhymes over didnt have the impact of the others (something to do with the mixes). All in all you seem better off buying yourself MORE FIRE if your goal is Capleton, as it has most of the same music plus much more, and if you want Anthony B, go for something else, as there are only a few tracks. If you want both where better, though? If." ONE MISSION: CAPLETON featuring ANTHONY B Andrew L. Muirhead | Chicago, USA | 03/01/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Capleton is lyrically superb on ONE MISSION. This album finds Capleton remaining conscious of the importance of righteousness as a message in music. Capleton tells us that we need to remain righteous (track 2: Who I Am), and scorn the unjust (track 5: Who Is Dem). Capleton lets us know that the wicked will meet their doom (track 6: Nuh Pardon). We are encouraged to be peaceful (track 8: Heated Rush). Men are told to respect women, and women to have self respect (track 7: Good In Her Clothes). Anthony B and King David perform the dancehall-flavored, dance club-like Zagga Zow (track 12). On this album Anthony B gives great lyrical performances (track 13: When Mama Forsake Yu). This album is excellent in terms of lyrical content and music."
