"As a newer fan of Canned Heat, I have found this title too be worth the dollars. I have seen Canned Heat in concert in late 99. I will be there again. The hit single" Wait and See" is a great tune with old fashion Boogie flare reminicing with the old days.I have found other tracks just as exciting, Such as Dark Clouds, She Split and Road to Rio. Since there is only two original members of the band this is nothing to worry about, the new members are extremly talented. I have had other friends ask where you can get the cd. They liked it too. Different line-up, but just as good as their sixties music

"I remember Canned Heat for their classics of the late sixties and early seventies, particularly On the road again (a song title that was later used by the great Willie Nelson, but his equally great song is very different from Canned Heat's). I never knew anything about Canned Heat's more recent music until I came across this album at the end of the millennium, when I was looking for Y2K songs that might appeal to me. I was quite impressed by their Y2K song (it was the best such song that I bought), but was even more impressed by the rest of this set.
In reality, their blues-rock boogie style, while suitably updated, is still recognisable. Anybody who is familiar with their early music will still recognise Canned Heat when listening to this. They haven't changed as much as some of their contemporaries over the same time span.
The opening Wait and see is the standout track, but there's a lot of great music here, just waiting to be heard - and even though that Y2K song may sound dated now, the 11 other tracks are more than worth the price. If this is your first Canned Heat album, and you enjoy it, buy a compilation of their early music - you'll love it !"
This is a very good CD

"I have listened the CD and I also saw Canned Heat in concert few days ago; believe me, they are still a very good and amusing group! I really suggest to buy this "Boogie 2000", as is one of the few worthy rock-blues album of this year ."
