"Funky light jazz, hip dance grooves, whatever you want to call it this cd makes you want to get out of the chair and boogy. The band is solid, this work is good start to finish."
Should have had a US release.

"I still don't understand why this album wasn't released in the US.
Maybe because it's so hard to pigeonhole Candy's music, which really does a disservice to her and to the potential listener. You can't really put her in a box like that, unless of course you're sending it to my house, in which case make sure it's padded and has air holes. =)
There's so much variety on this album that there's something for nearly everyone to enjoy. I suppose Death Metal or opera fans need not bother, but for everyone else, this should be in your collection.
I adore Candy, and her music always makes me feel good. For this album, my favorite tracks are probably I.L.U. and Capone, but I pretty much enjoy all the tracks. 2 Miles, a tribute to the late Miles Davis, is warm and laid back - great for just relaxing or winding down the day. The only exception would be I'll Still be Looking Up To You, which is almost gospel like; good song, and Candy on sax is splendid as usual, it's just not my cup of tea.
Here's the track listing:
Wake Me When It's Over
I.L.U
Tommygun
Jazz It's Me
2 Miles

Capone
