"This was cameo's attempt at the new jack swing sound. This was a better sounding album than the previous "Machismo"."Closed Quarters","Me","Get Paid","Am I bad Enough?" & "Nan Yeah" are club funky jams while "Time,Fire,Space" & "Just a Broken Heart" are underrated slow jams.At that time I guess it was hard competing with Teddy Riley,Guy,Today and all the rest of the new jack legends, but you have to give Cameo credit for giving it a shot because the funk groups of the 70's and 80's (not all of them ) had faded away.Even though they never performed any of these songs on their tours right now they are still doing their thang while most new jack groups are no where 2 be seen(I guess the tables have turned!)When Cameo sticks to their sound,Their in a league of their own.I hope they do another album that doesn't make them jump on what's hot at the moment,They should "Be Themselves"."
