"Cal Tjaders work with percution is tremendous. He is one of the most underated Jazz artists of all time. The flow of this album is so smooth . This album proves Cal Tjader has the Latin Kick."
Fun!

"This is a really FUN CD! Lots of great bongo rhythm going here, and it almost seems like Cal is peripheral to the music, instead of being "out front" all the time. A great, yet underrated CD from when the Latin sound was coming on the 50's scene."
A real kick

"The track "Soul Sauce (Guachi Guaro)" set me off in pursuit of Cal Tjader, first the "Soul Sauce" album, then earlier Fantasy material. I encountered this in a local shop in Melbourne. It looked promising and I was won over by the cover art of Arnold Roth whose wry cartoons I enjoyed in the sixties. The album was better than I had hoped, a joy from start to finish, with "I Love Paris" a particular favourite."
