"This CD is not a real traditional Salsa CD, but that's fine with me as my tastes tend more towards Jazz fusion. If you are in the mood for some really creative, tight arrangements and some of the most impressive horn work on any Latin Jazz CD out there, pick this one up. It's a keeper. The band on the CD (Ritmo Alegria) is led by Fayyaz Virji of Incognito fame (trombone and keyboards), and he really shows his talents for arranging and instrumentation. The CD has some of the tastiest trombone work (by Virji) ever heard in Latin Jazz, and some really nice trumpet, flute, and vocal work. I have a lot of music, but this one is currently in my list of top five favorites. My kids also like it and don't rebel when I put it back in the CD player for the 10th or 11th time."
