Synopsis

Amazon.com
The two singles "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" and "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm...." certainly do the trick. They are powerful dance-pop tracks with a serious hip-hop trunk deep enough to support (almost) the rest of the album, which is a bit of a motivational cool-down. The singles will pack the dance floor, and although the rest of the tracks won't clear it entirely, this album does prove to be unbalanced in the get-up-on-your-feet department. --Beth Bessmer

(5 out of 5 stars)

"this CD blends hip-hop, dance and rock sounds. It's good music. It comes from the age of Prince and MC Hammmer, and it's really too bad that they didn't continue to make music. Things that make you go Hmmm, and Gonna Make you Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) are great club songs. It seems that their style of music was merely a passing fad, and why they died off after this album. All of the songs are good. Collaborations by Freedom Williams and other members show that they're very talented artists. It's original, edgy and as good today as it was then."
