A great value for money

"This 5 disc set collects the first five albums from The Byrds (Mr. Tambourine Man, Turn! Turn! Turn!, Fifth Dimension, Younger Than Yesterday, and The Notorious Byrd Brothers) in mini-sleeve replicas of the original vinyl issues. The audio (which includes bonus tracks) is the same as on the Sony/Legacy reissues from the 90's. No booklets are included, just the five mini-jackets (which can damage your CDs if you are not careful) and a neat, sturdy slipcase which houses the discs, and also lists the bonus tracks.
I am not reviewing the contents of the CDs themselves (you can read them directly for every individual release), but rather evaluating the excellent value of the purchase. Much cheaper than getting the individual sets, and in a very neat looking (although not particularly "healthy" for the individual discs, I have to admit, as they risk scratches). And these five titles are all great art-pieces. Recommended if you didn't have these albums before."
These are European imports

"I'm not sure what Mike Fey's problem is with these sets but his diatribe against US record companies is totally offbase. These sets are made in Europe by a joint venture of a Japanese company (Sony) and a German company (BMG). How in the world he takes that to be an indictment against US record companies is beyond me.
As for the CD sets, they are 5 CDs, each housed in a cardboard sleeve, all in turn housed in slipcase. Go to the pages for each of the 5 CDs for individual reviews."
