Very fresh after a letdown from "Satellite".

"This album is very good. I think "Invade My Soul" is their best major label album, but this is very close. I was letdown with "Satellite". Frontman Chuck Dennie teamed up with Peter Furler and Phil Joel from the Newsboys on writing some of the songs. "Root Of It All" is a great song explaining the real meaning of life. My personal favorite is "Notes On My Door". It is really cool and has a Police vibe to it. If you are a By The Tree fan, get this cd! If you are wanting to try them out, this would be a very good purchase."
Deep...very deep.

"By The Tree played at Western Kentucky University a couple days ago along with Joe White for the program AfterDark. It was awesome to hear them in concert, but hearing their new stuff was really cool. Root is a deep album, lyrically, especially on songs such as "Root Of It All", "I Need You", and "Your Arms". Up there with Invade My Soul with regards to lyrics and power, this album can leave you jumping up & down praising God, or on your knees in prayer. Great job By The Tree!!"
