"This Japanese reissue of this session is an excellent effort. Wonderful, even! The sound quality is superior than any previous partial release. And that's really what is all about---the appreciaton of the music. Those interested in purchasing this CD want to experience every and any nuance not originally perceived on the Verve LP release. And that's what this product is all about. For instance, Buddy's sticks are heard clicking together when attempting a pattern, but he still pulls it off. These kind of subtleties are present throughout this CD for the discerning ear."
