Bugs Henderson and His Fans Deserve Better Than This

"I am a long time fan of Bugs Henderson and his music, and I've seen him many times. He is a terrific singer, player and showman. This album is a terrible mono mix from a 1986 performance in St. Louis. It includes many of the classics Bugs has played over the years. However,in a word,it is unlistenable. It comes from the Dragon Record company in Milan Italy, and is on the Blue Flame label. It says it has been remastered and Bugs gave the tracks a "new order". This album brings nothing new to the table, and it's been done far better on his other records. Steer clear of this turkey. I thought I was getting something new."
Not The Best Sound Quality - But A Historic Recording

"I've listened to Bugs since his days with Mouse & the Traps, Nitzinger and Freddie King - that's roughly 30 years. He never fails to put on a good show and always embodies that killer tone he is known for. While this recording does not break any barriers from a sound quality perspective, it is a historic recording nonetheless, as it is the only known recording of this 4 piece band which featured both Jimmy Wallace and Mike Gage (on guitar and drums respectively), as well as longtime stalwart Bobby Chitwood on bass. A good performance with the two guitarists trading licks and making some noise - highly recommended for Bugs collectors."
