"This is a really good cd. Buddy Greene is a sort of folk, bluegrass, country, gospel, blues, Christian singer, guitarist and harmonica player. We have four of his cds. They are all good, but I like this one the best.



Here are some good lyrics. They are actually written by John Newton; Buddy Greene wrote new music for them. But Buddy Greene writes some of his own lyrics as well.



Let us praise, and join the chorus

Of the saints enthroned on high;

Here they trusted Him before us,

Now their praises fill the sky:

"Thou hast washed us with Your blood;

Thou art worthy, Lamb of God!""

"Buddy Greene is so talented. He writes, plays and sings beautifully. I have several cds by him and I love them all. Sojourner's Song is my favorite but they are all wonderful. Including this one. You won't go wrong if you like blue grass, gospel, and old county music. The fiddle and harmonica are extraordinary."
