A passel of tunes by "Buck" Pizzarelli and the West Texas Tumbleweeds, including some originals by his son John that recall and update the classic country swing of the late great Bob Wills, the Fort Worth fiddler who created the mold for an amalgamation of America's two great strains of roots music - country and jazz. Buck's father, Papa John Pizzarelli, may not have discovered oil when he explored the Texas range in 1916 but when his son Buck headed west he certainly struck musical gold.
