Album DescriptionIn the late '60s Bob Brunning found himself in the middle of the British Blues Boom, with Bass Guitar in hand and an address book of like minded souls. The next couple of years saw him play with first Fleetwood Mac (on their debut LP) then Savoy Brown, and release five LPs of his own John Mayall-like collective. Compiled here is the cream of those LPs, whose constants were Brunning and pianist Bob Hall. Blended in at various times were other key British Blues Boom protagonists from that address book, including alumni such as Dave Kelly, Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Jo-Ann Kelly. The full story of this exciting scene within the British Blues Boom is told with Bob's reminiscences and stories and Bob continues to run a monthly Blues Club today in South London. Retro. 2007.
