"This may be one of Brume's finest CD's, perhaps his most cohesive. All of the usual elements are there - the found voices, the sampled and cut-up percussion, the sounds from out of the aether - but they are presented here with a greater sense of... something - it could be purpose, dynamism, determination, or simply clarity. In addition, the American label on which it appears, RELEASE, has packaged it in just about the best artwork of any Brume CD: simple, direct, imaginative. I ought to know! I have both performed in, and done the artwork for, a CD with Brume (Brume & NOMUZIC: "Transports", released 1997)."
