Superb "Live" Bruckner No. 7

"As good as Bohm's studio 1977 account with the VPO is, this live version with the Bavarian Radio SO from the same year is even better. To me, Bohm was under-estimated as a conductor of Bruckner, mainly due to his lack of recordings. Aside from a handful in the 1930's (Nos. 4, 5 & 7 from 1936), he recorded an outstanding No.3, his great No.4, a highly lyrical No.7, and a very good No.8 all in the 1970's, along with this recently released live No.7. Audite's sound is fantastic.
