Synopsis

Album Description
From the composer: Over the past three years I have received a lot of emails and phone calls asking if I would ever release the DragonBall Z background music (the soundtracks) on compactdisc. Well, I have been listening to you and have been working hard to make your requests happen. I really enjoy writing music and working on DragonBall Z. I first met the gang back in episode #68 when Gohan and Krillin were on Namek waiting for Goku to arrive. Vegeta was scary and hard to figure out, and always thinking about himself, but what?s new there anyway? And who would ever figure out Bulma?- She is awesome and unpredictable. But aren?t all the DragonBall Z women awesome and unpredictable? You know, ... Chi Chi, Maron, Android 18,Videl, ... I can tell you that over the years the range of musical styles needed to cover this epic story has been huge. And if anyone ever asks you if you?re havin? fun yet...tell ?em I said yes! Thanks to all of you out there who kept after me to get these CDs out. I hope you enjoy the selections, and if I missed one of your favorites, let me know.

CD Reviews

For the fans

"In response to the last reviewer, "CDole", I would like to say that although I respect the Japanese version DBZ, and I have watched it, and yes it is the true original story, I ask you to please bite me. I don't speak Japanese, therefore I find the music, acting and dialogue from the American DBZ far more appealing. I know most die-hard fans from the beginning of Dragonball shun the American version, but hey guess what, I'm American, so I enjoy that one a hell of a lot more. And for the record, even if I spoke the language, the Japanese DBZ's music totally SUCKS!

The music on this CD is awesome...it is part ambient dance music, part drama, part synth[some of it sounds a bit dated, late 1980's, but it fits the story], part kick-ass rock ["Destruction", "Vegeta's Theme"]

It says right on the CD sleeve, "American Soundtrack" so if you are one of those whiney fans who like to pretend the American version doesn't exist, then don't buy this CD; end of story. But if you are a fan of the popular AMERICAN version of DBZ, casual or obsessed as I am, get this CD...it's a great dramatic emotional ride. Thumbs up, Mr. Faulconer."

"What can get better than DBZ Instrumental? I haven't really heard any Instrumentals that I really love you know? I mean I like some Instrumentals, but I love ALL/MOST of the DBZ Instrumentals & I listen to them a lot!

It is also very inspiring when you hear them.

Some of the instrumentals make you want to work out in a gym or take a run.

Some make you really think.

Some make you appreciate things.

Some encourages you.

Some makes you want to do the things you know are right.

Some makes you get energetic.

Some calms you.

Some inspires you.

Some makes you wonder.

Some makes you want to do a change in your life.

Some makes you think about the past people you have hurt.

Some makes you feel guilty by what you did & you feel like making things right.

Some makes you care about others.

Some makes you want to stand up against what is Evil in the world.

Some really speak into your heart, soul & spirit.

Some makes you think about the Real Meaning of Life.

Some makes you feel at peace.

Some makes you get passionate.

Some actually "waken" you into not wasting your life anymore.

Some gets you Fired up about ending Evil in the world.

Some are mysterious & makes you think

Some gives you hope about changing the person you think you are.

Some makes you realize you are doing wrong.

Some actually feel like if it is making who we really are Truly come out!

Some makes us realize, that we are running away from Truth & deceiving/lying to our own selves.

Some makes us think about, if we are right & on the Correct Path with God

Some gets you Fired up for God & to Go His Way.

Or at least for me, either way these DBZ Instrumentals are awesomely amazing! Can't recommend it enough.

I am sorry for writing this same review to most of the DBZ Volumes, but there is nothing left for me to say but what I just said, & this goes for ALL the DBZ Instrumentals.

-The thing I love the MOST about DB/Z/GT is that it is like a Christian show!!

Goku is the one who always leads everyone the correct way, He is the savior of the world! (Symbolic to God leading us the right way & being our Savior!)

Goku trains & helps his friends to become good fighters (Symbolic to God "training" us in His Word)

Goku trusts in his friends knowing they will do the right thing. (Symbolic to God trusting that His true followers will obey Him & go His way)

Goku always shows love & mercy even to his enemies & evil people. (Symbolic to God showing all us people, whom have broken His Perfect Law -The Ten Commandments- and yet He still gives us Mercy to flee from sin & follow Him)

Goku believes anyone can change their life from bad, to good. (Symbolic to fleeing from our sins & following the Will of God)

Goku was like a father, always protecting people from evil (Symbolic to how God protects us from evil & when the storms comes, He's still with us)

Everytime it seems hopeless & like evil will prevail & there is no way out, Goku is always there to help! (Symbolic to no matter how strong the temptation or urge is, God always provides a way out for us because He is with us)

When the Saiyans or other fighters feel like there is no hope, they go into a new level of strength (Symbolic to when you are weakest you are strongest)

Like with us when we feel we can't resist the temptation or do the Will of God, we still press on and reach a new level or strength.....haha, like a Spiritual Super Saiyan, being much stronger into & with God then we were before.

When the fighters are fighting & they feel there is no hope, someone else usually comes to the aid (Symbolic to God will never leave us & He always provides help)

DBZ is not only a great show but I look at it through a Christian sense, look at it as a Christian sense, it's symbolic, it'll make it 10x better! I know it did for me!
