"Glad to find this cd of some of the best of ole school funk. The Brothers Johnson bring back fond memories of the 70's with a few classics on this cd. Only six cuts on here for me."

"Great old school funk just listening to the musicians will tell you why music of today has little lasting value. When I listen to this cd I just have one request and that is Louis Johnson why did you change from playing a Fender bass early in his career to that mutted flat sound you get from playing that Gibson."
Great compilation CD

"If you enjoy the Brothers Johnson and their deep funky basslines, this CD is for you. Songs like Stomp, Get the Funk outta my Face and Strawberry Letter 23 defined the snapping and popping basslines of today's bassists. I highly recommend this for all you old-schoolers!"
