"This has a cool angle on Grind riffing , the blast beats are there and in top form , the guitars do those doodling hyper fast grind riffs differently than other bands . they have a sound all thier own . They seem to alternate between the fast grind and the slow doomy death parts alot , this make it different than most grind bands as well"

"Broken hope's last two albums are just amazing. Loathing was a huge improvement technically over thier last offering. The production is excellent which brings me to the riffs. This album is FULL of killer technical riffs that will blow you away. All tracks are solid and the drumming is unreal. I really miss this band a lot. Do yourself a favor and buy Loathing and Grotesque Blessings. These guys were and still are at the top of the death metal game."

"As Broken Hope is supposed, this album is as brutal, gore and fast as a death metal album could be. Their music has advanced much! I suppose it has a lot to do with guitarists new side project Em Sinfonia, a black metal side project with female vocals. At the time of deciding wether to buy this album or not, remember: death metal = Deicide, Broken Hope & Morbid Angel."
