"I don't live in a cave, but until her MTV Ultrasound episode, I'd never heard of this slightly post-pubescent diva. Since then I've combed the markets of Dili in search of any scrap of Britneyana. Not since the Wild-Eyed Southern boys graced this plane with the Britneyesque "Hold on Loosely" have I been this moved. Naturally, when I found this interview, I had to have it. Although Britney fails to mention her obvious musical debt to Van Zandt, or to Loverboy's Mike Reno, we do get a valuable inside look at this post-modern Mouseketeer. Many have suggested that Ms. Spears lacks substance, but few beauty contestants have given such deeply considered responses to many weighty questions. If you want to get behind the music of the Spears, if you need more than her music to guide you in your personal life, if you want to immerse yourself in the quintescence of Britneyosity, then this tape will fill you needs."
