A wonderful gem

"What a pleasant treat and surprise. This CD is vintage '60s psychadelic rock. A blend of The Zombies, the Doors, and perhaps the Kinks -- if that helps at all. To be honest, it is difficult to say who the Brigade sound like; they do have their own unique feel. This album is no "Forever Changes" mind you (what is?) -- but it is still a great listen. Many beautiful organ moments and drifting guitar movements. The vocals take a bit of time getting used to -- but a hell of a lot better than Iron Butterfly's "Ball." Highly recommended...the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I hear it in my dreams. Youthful yet deep, haunting one minute, naive the next, sublime at places -- ultimately satisfying. One of the truly greatest "un-known" albums of the Sixties, to be sure."
