"I first discovered Bridget Saint John in Germany, through the reputation of John Peel and Dandelion, I listened to the LP and at once was stricken by "To B with a hitch". How can someone have such a sad voice, not monotonous as my wife says, just sad and reminding so much to what we french people love about England, this kind of bored and styled laziness ? There are beautiful melodies and the guitar playing is excellent and moody. She surely has written most of the songs on rainy days. Actually I fell in love with Bridget, where is she today ?
The second album is a gem too."
