Product DescriptionBrenda and the Tabulations burst onto the scene during the classic mid- 60s soul years with 'Dry Your Eyes', on the Dionn label, reaching the R&B Top 10 and # 20 in the Hot 100, and enjoyed a succession of crossover hits with soulful ballads in the ensuing five years on Dionn and subsequently Top & Bottom Records in their home city of Philadelphia. A move to Epic brought them further success in 1973 with the appealing One Girl Too Late , then in 1976 the group signed with Chocolate City, part of the Casablanca empire, and cut the highly-rated album I Keep Coming Back For More at Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia, the source of the wealth of hits on the PIR label. Produced by Norman Harris and Bobbi Eli, the album has become a collectors item which Shout! Records are delighted to re-issue for the first time on CD. The package includes two hit singles in the mellow balladry of Home To Myself and bustling floor-filler Superstar , which took the group back into the R&B top 30 in 1977.
