"
I purchased this CD having no idea who the Breakaways were. Apparently they are best known for backup vocals on a number of 1960's records (by such artists as Petula Clark). They really do have a distinctive sound, and this CD includes a great selection of key tracks they were on. Only complaint: it would have been nice to have more of their own recordings (group and individual) on the CD as they were clearly worthy of having hits with there own records."
