"20 minutes of crickets followed by 20 minutes of rain followed by (oh goody) another 20 minutes of crickets. If you listen real hard you can hear a bird or two. Too bad I didn't see the last review before I ordered it!"
A successful recording of the serenity of the rainforest

"This is the first environmental recording I have purchased and liked. The CD features one continuous track that lasts exactly 60 minutes, which is not so lengthy considering my curiosity growing until the end of the recording. That is, it is tempting to continue listening to the various soundscapes because the rainforest environment keeps changing inadvertently. The recording's editing is so unobtrusive that your imagination penetrates various strata of the rainforest without realizing it. For example, some of those rainforest scenes switch from a gentle rain falling to a distant thunder echo after some heavy showers. Finally, what I like best in this recording is the discrete music I find in the soft pattering of the rain on the moist leaves. All in all, this is a nice sonic journey to go along just before going to bed. Happy dreaming!"
A bath in crazy wildlife

"with all respect dear fellow review-writers... To me - this is one of the most delightful experiences to dwell in. Lie down, shut the mind and swim in sounds of animals never encountered, sometimes a bird comes close to the microphone while the background carpet of jungle-sound embraces. If you have been to the rainforest or not - it is a strange world which is great to recuperate in and an awe to fall into for the massive of species on the planet and the magic their sounds can produce."
